Job summary

North Mississippi Health Services seeks an administrative professional to oversee radiology department operations at the West Point facility. You will coordinate staff activities, manage administrative and technical duties, and ensure quality patient care in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities include budgeting, reporting, liaison with staff and physicians, and adherence to state and federal radiation standards, policies, and guidelines.

• Prepares and coordinates meetings and activities of Radiology staff and department.
• Responsible for administrative and technical management of the department to provide quality patient care.
• Oversees West Point Radiology Department budget development and supervises staff to maintain fiscal accountability of budget.
• Serves as a liaison between staff, physicians, patients, and family members to ensure effective communication/interaction.
• Ensures high quality health care is delivered at the West Point Facility and Radiology Department by effectively interacting and cooperating with providers.
• Prepares and presents operational and financial reports/projects as required.
• Responsible for State, Local, and Federal radiation standards requirements.
• Adheres to NMHS/NMMC Policies/Procedures/Guidelines
• Complies with applicable Local/State/Federal policies/procedures/guideline/regulations/laws/statues
