Job summary

HDR is seeking a Pump Stations and Pipelines Business Class Director to lead the technical capabilities of HDR's business class, build strong cross‑team relationships, and oversee risk management across projects. You will guide quality assurance, set standards, mentor leaders, and coordinate with market sectors, operations, and pricing teams on go/no‑go decisions and contractual scoping.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture/Engineering or closely related field.
• 10+ years of experience in related field.
• Professional or Architecture/Engineering registration is required for leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide company-wide leadership of technical capabilities within the business class.
• Build relationships with related business classes, market sectors, and operations.
• Lead risk management and provide technical advisory services on projects.
• Drive QA/QC processes and coordinate with the Quality Manager.
• Oversee development of technical tools, standards, and techniques to enhance service quality.
• Mentor and direct Business Class leaders to execute HDR's mission.
• Participate in client development, proposals, and professional organizations.
