Job summary

HDR is seeking a Pump Stations and Pipelines Business Class Director to provide senior leadership across HDR's water infrastructure practice. You will coordinate with market sectors, groups, and operations to guide project delivery and technical excellence.

The role emphasizes risk management, staffing, strategic planning, and client engagement to advance HDR's water solutions and industry leadership. Travel and collaboration across locations are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or closely related field.
• At least 10 years of professional experience in related fields.
• Professional registration (PE/RA or equivalent) for leadership roles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide company-wide leadership of technical capabilities within the business class.
• Build relationships with related business classes, market sectors, and operations.
• Lead and participate in technical risk management and quality assurance activities.
• Oversee development and application of technical tools, standards, and techniques.
• Assign qualified staff to projects and coordinate workload across offices.
