Job summary

Halff Associates, Inc. is seeking a Director of Public Works in Oklahoma City to lead multiple engineering teams and drive growth within the Public Works & Local Infrastructure practice.

You will oversee project planning, design, and execution while ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications. The role requires 10+ years in civil engineering with at least 3 years in leadership, and a Professional Engineer license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or similar.
• 10+ years of experience in civil engineering with 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Professional Engineering license required.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary large-scale projects.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple teams of engineers and/or other staff within their discipline, providing guidance and support.
• Lead and coordinate annual sales goal for managing team(s).
• Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that promotes teamwork and growth.
• Set performance goals and conduct regular evaluations.
• Oversee planning, design, and implementation of projects within their discipline.
• Coordinate with clients and project teams to understand requirements and deliverables.
• Drive regional growth for the Practice and firm.
