Job summary

McLaren Health Care seeks a Director of Provider Network Strategy & Contracting to lead end-to-end provider network initiatives within McLaren Health Plan. The role focuses on advancing affordability, quality, and market performance across Medicaid, Medicare, and Commercial lines.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in provider network management and government programs, with supervisory leadership and a strong background in Michigan Managed Care markets and population health

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or related field.
• Eight (8) years of experience in provider network management, provider contracting, or value-based payment (VBP).
• Three (3) years of experience in government programs (Medicaid, Medicare, MA/D SNP) while leading multi-market provider contracting or network development programs with supervisory experience.
• Valid state drivers license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance coverage.
• Preferred: Masters degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or related field.
• Direct experience in Michigan Managed Care markets and/or population health analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end provider network strategy and contracting for MHP.
• Advance affordability and quality goals and market performance across Medicaid, Medicare, and Commercial lines.
• Identify network gaps and drive strategic contracting initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional governance across clinical, financial, and operational teams.
• Ensure access, regulatory readiness, and alignment with product objectives.
