Qualifications

• 7+ years of healthcare industry experience with provider contract work.
• Experience with commercial, value-based arrangements and data analysis.
• Strong negotiation, influence, and relationship management skills.
• Experience interpreting network analytics, quality outcomes, and claims data.
• Leadership experience in a dynamic, matrixed environment.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct complex provider network contract negotiations for high-value agreements.
• Develop strategies balancing affordability, quality, risk, and network sustainability.
• Manage day-to-day operations of staff and budgeting for the department.
• Partner cross-functionally to align contracting with enterprise objectives.
• Use data trends and market intelligence to inform contracting decisions.
• Represent Wellmark to external partners and stakeholders.
