Job summary

The role partners across Network Contracting, Payment Strategy, Legal, and Operations to design contracting and payment strategies that support cost quality and long-term sustainability. Hybrid schedule, 3 days in the office and 2 remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or direct and applicable work experience.
• 7+ years in healthcare with provider contract work.
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Experience interpreting network analytics, claims data, and trends.
• Leadership experience managing teams in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex provider network contract negotiations for high-value agreements.
• Provide day-to-day management of budget and staff resources.
• Develop and implement large-scale provider network strategies.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align contracting with strategy.
• Represent Wellmark in external forums on network contracting.
