Job summary

Merck is seeking a Principal Scientist/Director of Value & Implementation Outcomes Research to lead value evidence plans and real-world evidence for prostate and kidney cancer therapies. You will develop study designs, conduct econometric analyses, and produce dossiers for payers and HTA bodies, collaborating across clinical development, medical affairs, biostatistics, and market access.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree or equivalent in health/medical field with research focus.
• Experience designing and conducting value evidence studies and economic modelling.
• Oncology experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute value evidence plans and real-world evidence activities for in-line and pipeline products.
• Characterize disease burden, treatment patterns, and health-care resource utilization.
• Create AMCP dossiers and Global Value Dossiers for HTA submissions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to inform product development and market access.
• Present outcomes research data at conferences and in publications.
