Job summary

The University of Maryland Extension (UME) seeks a Director of Evaluation and Reporting to lead, design, and implement evaluation and reporting across Extension programs. This role reports to the Associate Dean/Associate Director and aims to enhance program planning, evaluation, and stakeholder communication.

The Director will oversee tools, data collection, and reporting processes, ensuring high-quality impact communication and compliance with funder requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or Ph.D. preferred for evaluation focus.
  • Ten years of professional experience in project management and evaluation.
  • Experience with data collection tools like Qualtrics, Google Forms, PEARS.
  • Ability to plan, implement, and report Extension program evaluations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership for needs assessments, evaluation design, and reporting for Extension Programs.
  • Oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting to funders and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate annual USDA NIFA Plan of Work and other accountability reports.
  • Lead Civil Rights data collection and reporting.
  • Supervise one staff member and graduate/undergraduate assistants.
