Houghton Mifflin Harcourt is seeking a Professional Services Product Management Director to guide the vision for professional learning solutions in K-12 education. You will monitor market landscape, engage teachers, and craft a go-to-market strategy with agile, cross-functional collaboration across sales, engineering, product development, and marketing.

Competenze

BS/BA in related discipline with approximately 7+ years of related industry or functional experience.
Proven ability to lead complex new product launches and/or large-scale transformational initiatives.
Exceptional presentation skills, both in person and online.
Technical background; experience with technical product management and/or Agile development methodology.
Knowledge of the K12 Core, Supplemental, and Professional Learning Market.
Proficient use of Smartsheet, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Strong written and oral communication skills
Highly organized

Drive vision, business plan, and offering strategy for a portfolio of professional learning solutions.
Define market and business requirements for new digital solutions that satisfy customer needs and revenue/profit goals.
Leverage research and data to define strategic vision, set goals, measure results, and support delivery of high quality products.
Deliver key results on schedule, on budget, and in line with customer needs and corporate goals.
Oversee cross-functional teams to execute against plans.
Liaise with internal stakeholder groups to collect feedback, manage schedules, and motivate teams.
Research and report on market trends, competitive issues, and customer problems to stakeholders.
Make recommendations for revisions and extensions of existing solutions including pricing models.
Create and maintain channels of communication with sales and other functions within Services and across the company.
