The Metropolitan Opera is seeking a Director of Production Infrastructure and Planning to shape the department’s long‑term capital strategy and infrastructure upgrades. You will oversee capital projects, vendor relationships, and safety programs to support world‑class opera productions on the Met stage.

Formación

• Terminal degree in Theater, Production, Management or equivalent.
• 5 years of experience in a similar position at a major theatrical venue.
• Demonstrated knowledge of standard project management practices.
• Knowledge of technical backstage operation and theater production processes.
• Strong written communication of technical and artistic concepts.
• Excellent interpersonal and team-based collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop long-term capital improvement plan and capital master plan with timelines.
• Oversee production systems, safety plans, permits, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate external vendors, consultants, and service providers.
• Manage annual budget and expense tracking for production systems.
• Lead strategic planning for future production operations and infrastructure.
