Job summary

Elkay seeks a Director of Product Marketing to drive strategy and execution across the Flow Systems portfolio. You will own product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans, partnering with Product Management and Sales to fuel growth and differentiation.

You will lead a Product Marketing Manager, collaborate with Channel Marketing, Digital, Creative, Copy and Social teams, and translate customer insights into compelling value propositions. Travel ~25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field.
• 15+ years of strategic marketing experience and team leadership.
• Experience with new product development initiatives or launches.
• Strong data tools literacy (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Vendor and agency management experience.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Business Unit Product Marketing Strategy: Partner with Product Management throughout the new product development process and lead product marketing strategy and execution for the BU.
• Define Market Positioning & Portfolio Messaging: Own the Positioning framework for the Drainage portfolio, developing differentiated value propositions and narratives.
• Drive Portfolio Growth & Market Expansion: Identify market opportunities, improve market penetration, and strengthen differentiation.
• Understand Market Conditions & Competitive Position: Analyze market, customer, and competitive data to spot opportunities and risks.
• Serve as the voice of the customer: Reflect customer needs in positioning and commercialization plans.
• Lead Product Commercialization & Launch Excellence: Develop launch positioning, messaging, tools, training content, and commercialization plans for new products.
• Enable Sales Success: Equip sales with messaging, tools, and competitive insights.
• Drive Continuous Improvement: Align marketing initiatives with strategic priorities and drive improvements.
• Understand and Deliver On Business Priorities: Support marketing and commercial teams in achieving objectives through workshops and process improvements.
• Measure and Communicate Business Impact: Provide market insights and positioning recommendations to support portfolio growth.
• Lead Cross-Functional Alignment: Align product strategy, market positioning, and messaging across PM teams.
• Develop Marketing Talent: Build and lead a Product Marketing capability, coaching a Product Marketing Manager.
