Director, Product Marketing - Digital Experience BU

We are Progress (Nasdaq: PRGS), a trusted provider of software that enables our customers to develop, deploy, and manage responsible, AI-powered applications and experiences with agility and ease.

We value diversity and believe that people power progress. Join us as a Director, Product Marketing for our Digital Experience Business Unit. This remote role is based in the United States, with working hours aligned to EST or CST.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy for our DX product suite, including strategy formulation and execution.
  • Manage a team of Product Marketers, fostering engagement and effective messaging.
  • Develop marketing strategies and campaigns aligned with business objectives and market trends.
  • Communicate effectively to understand customer needs and guide content, website, and sales enablement strategies.
  • Coordinate with Product Management, Demand Generation, Sales, and Field Marketing for product launches and GTM plans.
  • Maintain relationships with industry analysts to ensure positive product representation.
  • Analyze market data and customer feedback to refine marketing strategies.
  • Design and implement GTM themes and strategies, bringing an experiential approach to campaigns.
  • Review and approve major marketing initiatives to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Participate in pricing and packaging decisions with Product Management.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
  • Lead cross-functional projects, emphasizing problem-solving and goal attainment.
  • Manage the budget for the DX Product Marketing department.
  • Participate in M&A activities, including due diligence and integration.

Your background:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Experience leading Product Marketing teams in large enterprise software companies.
  • Understanding of Demand Generation, Field Marketing, and Product Management functions.
  • Exceptional communication skills with proven messaging development ability.
  • Proven leadership in guiding high-performing teams.
  • Strategic mindset with market analysis expertise.
  • Data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex corporate structures and negotiate effectively.
  • Experience managing geographically dispersed teams.
