Job summary

Temporal Technologies seeks a senior product marketing leader to shepherd open-source, cloud, and AI capabilities to developers and architects. You will own product-facing marketing across Cloud, platform architecture, and SDKs, partnering with Engineering, Sales, and Solutions to drive launches and adoption.

In this hands-on leadership role, you will guide narratives, manage a team of Product Marketing Engineers, and ensure evidence from customer interviews informs roadmap and messaging while

Qualifications

• Significant product marketing experience with developer tools or cloud infrastructure.
• Experience leading and developing senior individual contributors.
• Track record of turning technical work into positioning, launches, and adoption programs.
• Ability to discuss APIs, SDKs, distributed systems, reliability, and cloud architecture with engineers.
• Excellent positioning and writing skills for technical products.
• Experience working with a large global sales organization.

Responsibilities

• Build direct relationships with engineering leaders and engineers.
• Maintain view of roadmap; decide what requires research, positioning, proof, or adoption guidance.
• Create and run Temporal's launch process with cross-functional ownership.
• Own product and portfolio positioning across open-source tech, Cloud, core primitives, SDKs, and AI features.
• Explain customer value of reliability, scalability, security, capacity, and developer tooling.
• Write and edit positioning and messaging for key products and launches.
• Own customer interviews for case studies and use evidence in launches and adoption plans.
• Hire, develop, and set priorities for Product Marketing Engineers.
• Own Temporal's technology ecosystem strategy and partner integrations.
• Meet customers regularly (3-4 per month) and support strategic sales deals.
• Make clear launch tradeoffs and determine when to launch or not.
