Job summary

Temporal Technologies is seeking a Senior Staff Product Marketing Engineer to illuminate the developer experience across core primitives, SDKs, APIs, Nexus, and tools. You will collaborate with Core, SDK, and developer tooling teams to translate learnings into positioning, demos, and practical guidance for developers.

You will lead technical storytelling, author guidance, and demos, helping customers understand Temporal without sacrificing details.

Qualifications

• Proven track record building developer-facing platforms, SDKs, APIs, or tooling.
• Experience with APIs, SDKs, distributed systems, failure handling, testing, and observability.

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of Temporal primitives, SDKs, APIs, Nexus, and developer tooling across languages.
• Analyze the developer journey from first code sample to production use to reduce adoption friction.
• Create demos, sample apps, reference implementations, tutorials, and technical guidance.
• Own messaging and positioning for Core, SDK, API, Nexus, and developer experience initiatives with leadership.
• Collaborate with engineers to align roadmap and prepare launches before announcements.
• Own technical storytelling for developer-tool integrations with frameworks and libraries.
• Test docs, onboarding, local development, testing, debugging, replay, and upgrade workflows with guidance.
• Support priority deals and partner conversations with hands-on demos and evidence to remove blockers.
• Lead customer interviews for Core and SDK case studies and capture outcomes and value.
• Tackle AI patterns, new integrations, or emerging use cases as priorities shift.
