Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an accomplished senior product leader to own Lambda's GPU compute, storage, and networking product definitions. You will craft the roadmap for On-Demand GPU Instances and 1-Click Clusters, make tradeoffs across architecture, pricing, and packaging, and align engineering, sales, and finance around a unified customer experience.

You will lead pricing, packaging decisions, and partner with NVIDIA on integration and platform transitions, while mentoring a team of product

Job description

• Own product definition for Lambda's compute, storage, and networking products, including customer promise, product boundaries, launch criteria, pricing, and packaging
• Build and maintain the roadmap for products underlying On-Demand GPU Instances and 1-Click Clusters
• Make roadmap tradeoffs clear for engineering, sales, finance, and support
• Connect compute, storage, and networking into a unified customer experience for distributed training and inference workloads
• Lead pricing and packaging decisions, including capacity purchasing, option comparison, and multi-year commitments
• Turn new GPU platform generations into products Lambda can sell and support
• Lead product integration with NVIDIA or assign clear ownership on the team
• Partner with NVIDIA development efforts and test and adopt new technologies in appropriate Lambda products
• Create planning, review, launch, and feedback mechanisms across engineering, sales, finance, support, and operations
• Hire, coach, and manage product managers
• Set standards for product work and develop the next generation of product leaders
• Collaborate with engineering leaders, customers, executives, designers, sales, finance, support, operations, and strategic partners

Requirements

• 10+ years of product management experience, including managing product managers
• Career built in cloud computing
• Direct experience with at least two of compute, networking, and storage; ideally all three
• Ability to reason about performance, durability, cost, and customer impact across compute, networking, and storage
• Experience owning product strategy, roadmap, pricing, and packaging for infrastructure products at company-direction-setting scope
• Experience with hardware constraints, supply timing, or platform transitions shaping the roadmap
• Experience managing senior product managers and improving written product definition, judgment, and execution
• Ability to define iterative plans toward a desired outcome
• Ability to translate ambiguous customer, technical, and commercial inputs into executable product definition
• Comfort making tradeoffs across engineering complexity, customer commitments, margin, and delivery timing
• Plain communication and strong writing
• Deep compute, networking, storage, or hardware platform experience at a cloud computing platform highly desired
• Experience with GPU cloud, AI infrastructure, distributed training, or large-scale inference products nice to have
• Experience with NVIDIA GPU platforms, InfiniBand networking, NVLink, or high-performance storage systems nice to have
• Experience building products for self-serve developers and committed enterprise customers nice to have
• Experience working directly with strategic technology partners on product integration and adoption nice to have
• Experience with usage-based pricing, reserved capacity, or multi-year customer commitments nice to have
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
