Serving customers across 30+ countries, we are building trusted, delightful digital experiences that help people move and manage money anywhere in the world. We are seeking a Director of Product Management to define product vision, set strategy, and drive execution across our North American Digital business. This is a high-impact leadership role that balances long-term vision with hands‑on execution. You will shape the future of our core remittance experience while expanding into adjacent financial services that deepen customer relationships and increase lifetime value. You will combine customer obsession, strategic thinking, data‑driven decision making, and exceptional cross‑functional leadership to accelerate growth, improve retention, and deliver category‑leading customer experiences. As a key member of the Digital leadership team, you will be responsible for defining priorities, developing product leaders, and delivering measurable business outcomes across one of Western Union’s most important growth markets.

Key Responsibilities

Define and Lead US Digital Product Strategy

Own the vision, roadmap, and execution strategy for the North American Digital business, driving both the core remittance experience and the evolution into adjacent financial services, including wallets, banking, and other customer solutions that expand engagement and lifetime value.

Drive Customer Growth: Accelerate customer acquisition through best‑in‑class onboarding, referral programs, localized customer experiences, experimentation, and continuous funnel optimization across key US sending corridors.

Increase Retention and Customer Engagement: Build delightful, trusted experiences that strengthen customer loyalty by reducing friction, improving transparency, and enhancing key customer touchpoints including pricing, network coverage, reliability, delivery speed, and account management.

Build for High‑Value Customers: Develop differentiated experiences for high‑value senders through premium services, tailored verification journeys, loyalty programs, personalized experiences, and enhanced support offerings.

Expand Beyond Remittances: Identify, validate, and launch adjacent financial services that solve meaningful customer problems, deepen engagement, and create new growth opportunities beyond traditional money transfer.

Lead and Develop High‑Performing Teams: Lead a team of product managers, analysts, and designers while raising the bar on product craft, customer centricity, analytical rigor, and execution excellence. Develop future product leaders and create a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.

Champion AI‑Enabled Product Development: Leverage AI across product discovery, research, prototyping, experimentation, and decision making to improve velocity, increase quality, and unlock new customer experiences.

Deliver Through Cross‑Functional Leadership: Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Analytics, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Global Product teams to align priorities, remove obstacles, and deliver high‑impact outcomes.

Own Business Outcomes: Be accountable for key business metrics including customer growth, conversion, retention, engagement, revenue, and customer satisfaction. Ensure product investments are aligned to measurable customer and business impact.

What We Are Looking For

Strategic Leadership at Scale: A rare combination of long‑term vision and operational excellence. Proven ability to define ambitious strategies, align organizations, and consistently deliver results across complex, multi‑market environments.

Proven Product Leadership: 10+ years of product management experience, including significant leadership responsibility within fintech, cross‑border payments, digital banking, consumer marketplaces, or other high‑growth digital businesses.

Growth Mindset and Commercial Acumen: Demonstrated track record of driving customer growth, retention, engagement, and revenue through product innovation and disciplined experimentation. Strong business judgment and a deep understanding of value creation.

Customer Obsession: Passion for understanding customer needs and translating insights into intuitive, trusted, and differentiated customer experiences that drive measurable outcomes.

  • Expertise in Growth and Optimization: Deep experience in acquisition, onboarding, localization, referral programs, lifecycle engagement, experimentation, conversion rate optimization, and analytics‑driven decision making.
  • Exceptional People Leadership: Experience leading and developing teams of Product Managers while creating clear priorities, strong alignment, and high performance. Proven ability to attract, retain, and mentor top talent.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong analytical capabilities with experience using customer insights, experimentation, and business metrics to prioritize investments and measure success.
