Job Description:

The Director of Global Marketing and Product Management will oversee a Marketing team that develops, implements, and manages marketing tools and schedules to meet the needs of the AMETEK LMS business. This role is also responsible for a team of Product Managers who manage and drive product roadmaps through all lifecycle phases, including concept, ROI and business case development, product design, launch, and end-of-life planning. The individual will establish relationships with external suppliers and cross-functional teams to deploy innovative, industry-leading solutions.

In this role, you will:

1. Conduct assessments considering the competitive landscape and customer needs (current and future).
2. Manage market-driven feedback to develop clear customer and market requirements.
3. Participate in the annual strategic planning process and translate those goals into 3-5 year product roadmaps.
4. Encourage innovation and the adoption of key technologies to maintain market leadership.
5. Manage technology transition and roadmap guidance: gather relevant data and develop recommendations for various customer usage models and business segments.
6. Lead a team of product managers overseeing the entire product lifecycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
7. Develop marketing strategies supporting all product lines.
8. Train, coach, and motivate team members to contribute to profitability growth.
9. Partner with functions such as Sales, Service, Operations, Finance, and Engineering to achieve profitable sales and excellent technical service.

Requirements for the role include:

• Bachelor’s degree (STEM preferred); MBA preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of work experience
• Experience in developing and holding teams accountable
• Knowledge of software applications, SaaS solutions, and Agile practices
• Ability to envision the big picture and turn product visions into reality
• Proven experience in writing product requirements, building business cases, presentations, and negotiations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; capable of leading discussions at all levels
• Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to travel at least 65%

Compensation

Employee Type: Salaried

Salary Range: Minimum $150,000, maximum market-based
