Job Description:

The Director of Global Marketing and Product Management will oversee a Marketing team responsible for developing, implementing, and managing marketing tools and schedules that meet the needs of the AMETEK LMS business. This role also manages a team of Product Managers who handle product roadmaps from conception through end-of-life, including ROI, business case development, and product design requirements. The individual will build relationships with external suppliers and cross-functional teams to deploy innovative, industry-leading solutions.

In this role, you will:

  1. Assess the competitive landscape and customer needs (current and future).
  2. Manage market-driven feedback to develop clear customer and market requirements.
  3. Participate in annual strategic planning and translate goals into 3-5 year product roadmaps.
  4. Encourage innovation and adoption of key technologies to maintain market leadership.
  5. Guide technology transition and roadmap navigation: gather relevant data and develop recommendations for various customer usage models and segments.
  6. Lead a team of product managers overseeing the entire product lifecycle from strategic planning to tactical execution.
  7. Develop marketing strategies supporting all product lines.
  8. Train, coach, and motivate team members to contribute to profitability growth.
  9. Partner with Sales, Service, Operations, Finance, and Engineering to achieve profitable sales and excellent technical service.

Requirements for the role include:

  • Bachelor’s degree (STEM preferred); MBA preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of work experience
  • Experience in developing and holding teams accountable
  • Knowledge of software applications, SaaS solutions, and Agile practices
  • Ability to envision and realize a product strategy
  • Proven experience in writing product requirements, building business cases, and negotiating
  • Strong communication skills, capable of leading discussions at all levels
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to travel at least 65%
Compensation

Employee Type: Salaried

Salary Range: $150,000 - $165,000

Incentive: Yes
