Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer within the IT department, the Director Product Management is responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams within the organization. Duties include leading the product vision, strategy, and lifecycle management for IT technology products; overseeing research, design, development, and delivery activities; supporting the business strategy with market intelligence and customer insights; and implementing standard operating procedures to drive efficient product development and release.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the IT product roadmap, ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategy and objectives
- Lead a team of product managers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define IT product requirements, specifications, and deliverables
- Conduct market analysis, competitive research, and customer insights to identify new IT product opportunities and drive innovation
- Drive the full product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring a seamless and efficient process
- Collaborate with engineering, design, operations, and other relevant teams to ensure successful IT product launches and go-to-market strategies
- Monitor and analyze market trends, customer feedback, and industry developments to continually improve and optimize IT product offerings
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, suppliers, and technology partners
- Manage the IT product management budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources
- Works effectively with others in a team environment to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve problems.

- Must demonstrate commitment, dependability, punctuality, and adherence to agreed-upon schedule. While being present in the workplace to effectively collaborate and communicate amongst co-workers and teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in product management, specifically within the IT industry
- Proven track record of successfully leading and launching IT products, with a focus on infrastructure, software, and technology solutions
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate IT product vision and strategy to both internal and external stakeholders
- In-depth knowledge of IT product management methodologies, tools, and best practices
- Experience working in an Agile development environment is highly desirable
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and emerging IT trends
- Passion for technology and a deep understanding of industry trends and customer needs in the IT space
- Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends, early mornings, late evenings.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for this role
- Travel requirements exist or are anticipated for this position; 20% or less. The ability to travel domestically in April and October to provide Market support is a requirement of this role.

Compensation: $150,000
