Motive is seeking a highly strategic and impactful Director of Product Design to lead Spend Management and Workforce Management design teams. This role shapes the future of fleet cards, bill pay, spend controls, and driver onboarding, with a focus on scalable, AI-driven UX across all products.

You will mentor designers, champion a user-centric culture, and partner with cross-functional leaders to deliver exceptional experiences for fleet managers, drivers, and back-office staff.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years in UX, interaction and UI design with leadership in SaaS.
• Portfolio showing user-centered design and strategic design vision.
• Experience scaling design systems across multiple product lines.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic design initiatives aligned with business goals and roadmaps.
• Lead the development of a cohesive design vision for Fleet Management products.
• Mentor and grow a high-performing team of product designers.
• Champion user-centric design culture across the org and mentor teams.
• Establish and evangelize design standards and best practices across the lifecycle.
• Lead end-to-end design projects from framing to execution and iteration.
• Contribute to and evolve the design system and component library for consistency.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations to align strategy and execution.
