Capital One seeks a Director of Product Design for the Accelerator to lead a cross-functional team of designers, partnering with research, product and technology leadership to shape integration experiences and the enterprise design roadmap.

You will guide strategic design, influence senior leaders, and help scale the design function while delivering human-centered, business-focused outcomes for complex, regulated environments.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in product design
• At least 3 years of experience leading design teams

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact, complex projects and define design strategy aligned to business objectives
• Drive design vision and strategy across UX, UI, service design and product
• Collaborate with product, research, and technology leadership to influence priorities
• Scale the design organization and design systems across teams
• Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders to achieve outcomes
