Job summary

Applied Materials is seeking a Director of Process Support Engineering to lead a world-class team supporting a strategic semiconductor customer and to accelerate the adoption of our solutions across memory R&D and high-volume manufacturing fabs.

The role requires deep semiconductor process knowledge, strong leadership, and the ability to develop people while collaborating with Business Units, Account Sales, Technical Directors, Field Service, and Product Engineering to solve our customers' most

Qualifications

BS degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Chemistry, or related technical discipline.
10+ years of semiconductor industry experience.
5+ years leading technical teams and engineering organizations.
Experience supporting advanced semiconductor manufacturing environments.
Outstanding communication and executive presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Develop trusted relationships with senior customer engineering and manufacturing leadership.
Lead and develop a high-performing organization of Process Support Engineers and managers.
Establish clear performance expectations and development plans for Process Support Engineers and managers.
Drive adoption of new technologies through demonstrations, evaluations, qualifications, and joint development activities.
Partner with product groups to accelerate introduction of next-generation technologies.
