AbbVie is seeking a Director of Process Engineering to lead a diverse team of engineers and scientists across pharmaceutical manufacturing programs. You will link development and operations, drive project execution, and deliver technically sound solutions while collaborating with quality, manufacturing, and outsourcing partners.

The role emphasizes leadership, strategic planning, and risk management to ensure compliant, cost-effective manufacturing scale-up from pilot to full production.

Responsabilidades

• Communicates and collaborates with internal and external partners to provide technical and business leadership.
• Maintain and direct a cross-functional staff to ensure CMC lifecycle activities are completed on time and within standards.
• Develops engineering objectives and strategies for site improvements and cost optimization.
• Develop and communicate cost estimates, plans, and timelines for projects.
• Participate in capital plan input and capital project execution to advance capabilities.
• Make final decisions related to project responsibilities.
• Represent AbbVie during audits to regulatory agencies as appropriate.
• Ensure engineering staff follow Health, Safety and Environmental practices.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to direct reports and secure necessary resources.
