Job summary

IDEAYA Biosciences, Inc. in South San Francisco is seeking a Director, Process Chemistry to lead drug substance development across preclinical to NDA.

You will manage multiple CDMOs, author technical sections for IND/IMPD/NDA, and work closely with cross-functional teams to keep DS supply aligned with PK/PD, efficacy, and clinical trials. This onsite role requires strong leadership, cGMP knowledge, and global CDMO oversight, with travel to international sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Chemistry with 8+ years of development experience, or M.Sc. with 12+ years.

Responsibilities

• Lead DS development and manage multiple CDMOs across all stages.
• Prepare IND/IMPD/NDA technical sections and support regulatory submissions.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet aggressive timelines.
• Oversee technology transfer and manufacturing at CDMOs.
