Job summary

IDEAYA Biosciences, Inc. is seeking a Director of Good Manufacturing Processes, Quality Assurance to lead GMP QA oversight for drug products and biologics. This onsite role drives phase-appropriate GMP compliance across CMC, development, and IT systems, shaping quality strategy and regulatory readiness for complex pipelines.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, or related discipline; advanced degree (MS, PhD, PharmD) strongly preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of QA experience in biopharma, including 8+ years in development-stage programs.
• Minimum 5 years of direct GxP experience (GMP, GCP, GPV, and/or GLP) in regulated environment.
• Minimum 3 years of direct GxP experience with computer systems validation.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational QA leadership for development programs from toxicology through Phase 3.
• Lead QA oversight for GMP activities supporting clinical materials and analytics.
• Manage CDMO/GxP vendor oversight and audits; ensure phase-appropriate compliance.
• Support regulatory submissions with QA input and documentation.
• Develop and maintain SOPs governing development QA activities.
