Job summary

Inland Counties Legal Services seeks a Pro Bono Director to lead the Community Engagement Team and oversee multiple attorneys and non-attorney staff. • Pro bono program leadership and management.
• Experience supervising attorneys and staff.
• Track record developing partnerships with law firms, corporations, schools, funders, or community groups.
• Strong writing, speaking, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct pro bono projects and supervise the pro bono team.
• Recruit, train, and support volunteer attorneys and staff.
• Represent ICLS in pro bono initiatives and conferences.
• Collaborate with Community Engagement team to recognize partners and volunteers.
• Oversee law firm and corporate partnership strategy and fundraising collaborations.
• Integrate pro bono across practice groups and expand in new legal service areas.
• Ensure grant compliance and reporting to funders.
• Oversee program development, data collection, and strategic initiatives.
