Job summary

Pratham USA is seeking a strategic, relationship-driven Director of Principal Gifts to expand philanthropic support from high-net-worth individuals across the United States and beyond. You will manage a portfolio of principal donors, develop engagement strategies, and secure sizable investments to advance Pratham's mission.

Reporting to the CEO with a small team, you will cultivate, solicit, and steward donors capable of $100,000+ gifts, build a strong pipeline, and collaborate with board

Qualifications

• Proven track record in major gifts fundraising and donor stewardship.
• Ability to build and manage relationships with high-net-worth individuals.
• Strong strategic planning and pipeline management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of principal gift prospects and donors.
• Create tailored engagement and stewardship plans to secure gifts of $100,000+.
• Collaborate with the CEO, leadership, and volunteers to advance fundraising strategy.
• Lead and mentor a small team to grow principal gifts capacity.
• Oversee donor recognition, events, and cross-border philanthropy opportunities.
