Job summary

RSM US LLP in the United States is seeking a Northeast-based Director for the Post-Acquisition Dispute Advisory Services practice within Deal Services. You will lead engagements, oversee client service delivery, and develop written submissions to accounting arbiters on purchase price disputes.

Qualified candidates have 7–10 years of post-acquisition dispute experience, CPA and CFE or CFF, strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, and are capable of rainmaking through business development.

Qualifications

• Minimum B.S./B.A. degree with concentration in Accounting, Finance or Economics. Master’s degree a plus.
• 7-10 years of post-acquisition dispute consulting and/or arbitration experience.
• Subject matter expertise with purchase price disputes and neutral arbitrations.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and CPA with CFE/CFF credentials.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint; ability to travel.
• Leadership, client relationship development and business development skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagements and manage post-acquisition dispute advisory services teams.
• Oversee client service delivery and develop submissions to accounting arbiters.
• Draft and review purchase agreements and related accounting language.
• Cultivate client relationships to secure additional engagements.
• Lead presentations, supervise staff and drive business development.
