ORIX Corporation USA’s (OCU) Portfolio Management team is seeking to hire a Director for its New York office. The Portfolio Management team reports to the Chief Credit Officer and is responsible for ongoing review and monitoring of OCU’s investments across its Private Credit and Real Estate businesses. Its key function is to proactively identify credit migration and risk mitigation strategies in coordination with OCU’s Origination teams.
The Director’s overall objective will be to lead the analysis of OCU’s portfolio exposure across a number of its diverse lines of business. The Director will be responsible for all quarterly review responsibilities related to their portfolio including recommendation of appropriate investment risk ratings through the ongoing review and analysis of financial statements, the completion of periodic assessments of such statements, liquidity and valuation analysis, covenant compliance and testing, monitoring of news articles and other early warning alerts, quarterly investment reporting, and the preparation of Watch-List materials. On an ongoing basis, the Director will work closely with the Originations and Underwriting teams to actively manage the dialogue with the underlying portfolio companies and assist in the understanding of financial performance. In parallel, the Director will collaborate with other stakeholders on various strategic initiatives related to portfolio management, including identification of portfolio themes, enhancements to data quality, senior management reporting, process improvements, credit research papers, and the improvement of policies and procedures.
This position has frequent contact with all levels of employees and OCU Senior Management. In addition, this role may interact with outside business partners, vendors, consultants, and other office visitors.
Education, Skills, and Experience:
Annual base salary gross: $200,000 - $240,000 (NY only) . The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end of the ORIX USA ’s salary for this position. Actual base salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base pay is one component of ORIX USA ’s total compensation package for employees.
