Job summary

Oracle is seeking a senior platform leader to drive group strategy, standardize runtimes, APIs, and SDKs across multiple teams. The role requires governance across groups, coordinating security, resilience, and performance while reporting platform health and adoption to executive leadership.

The candidate will own platform-wide standards, collaborate with SRE and security partners, and guide architectural decisions to enable scalable, interoperable services.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a platform group responsible for runtimes, APIs, and SDK standardization.
• Ability to govern cross-group initiatives with security and performance focus.
• Proven track record communicating platform health and risk to executives.

Responsibilities

• Define platform strategy and align runtimes, SDKs, and integration frameworks to interoperable standards.
• Coordinate cross-group compatibility and security controls with SRE/security partners; approve high-risk migrations.
• Own resilience and capacity objectives; implement rollout, canary, and rollback patterns across services.
• Lead design reviews and ensure software features meet business goals and accessibility requirements.
• Drive API versioning, lifecycle, and interoperability strategies across products.
• Direct software architecture decisions and ensure alignment with business priorities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand customer issues and translate them into platform improvements.
