Job summary

The role emphasizes design reviews, API lifecycle, testing, and scalability, with collaboration across SRE, security, and product teams to ensure trusted solutions and broad interoperability.

Qualifications

• 12 years of experience in software development or equivalent senior level.
• Multiple degree combinations with 8+ years of software development experience for advanced levels.
• Experience leading platform, API, and SDK efforts across teams.
• Strong understanding of security, resilience, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Define platform strategy for a group, aligning runtimes, SDKs, and integration frameworks to interoperable, multi-tenant standards.
• Govern cross-group compatibility and security controls with SRE/security partners; approve high-risk migrations and deprecations.
• Own group-wide resilience and capacity objectives; institutionalize rollout, canary, and rollback patterns across services.
• Lead API versioning, lifecycle, and interoperability strategies across products.
• Direct teams to implement testing, observability, and debugging for effective software maintenance.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on platform health, risk, and adoption.
