Job summary

The American Cancer Society is seeking a Director of Estate and Gift Planning for a remote role based in Dallas, TX. You will lead a comprehensive planned giving program, secure bequests, trusts, and annuities, and collaborate with legal and financial advisors to support ACS's mission.

You will manage donor relationships, meet aggressive annual targets, utilize Salesforce, and work with philanthropy colleagues to grow blended gift proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 3+ years in nonprofit fundraising; planned giving experience preferred.
• CAP or CFRE certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Meet with prospects, donors, and advisors to present planned giving options.
• Grow and manage a portfolio through moves management stages.
• Attain annual targets for visits, proposals, and commitments.
• Utilize Salesforce to track, qualify and report contacts and progress.
• Collaborate with philanthropy colleagues to expand blended gift proposals.
• Stay current on estate and gifting techniques and tax laws.
