Job summary

USA Health in Mobile, AL seeks an experienced hospital pharmacist leader to oversee pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance across the department. The role focuses on staff development, controls for controlled substances, and sustaining high-quality patient care.

The successful candidate will supervise a multidisciplinary team, partner with system stakeholders to improve care and efficiency, and ensure adherence to accreditation standards and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited school of pharmacy; 5 years of pharmacy experience, 3 in supervisory capacity required.
• PharmD/MBA/MHA/MPA preferred.
• RPH - Registered Pharmacist - current, unencumbered AL license upon hire.
• Comparable combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assure full regulatory compliance of department

• Design, implement, and sustain pharmacy services to meet the needs of patient populations served

• Completes all mandatory department, educational and hospital requirements

• Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required

Additional Information

Employees must be in a regular position, working 20 hours or more per week (.50 FTE or greater) to qualify for benefits.
