Job summary

GForce Life Sciences seeks an experienced manufacturing leader to oversee a complex pharmaceutical packaging operation across three shifts. You will lead a 40–50 person team, drive optimization of automated assets like SAM and CCP, and partner with Engineering to resolve technical gaps.

You will spearhead investigations, CAPAs, and GMP activities while advancing OEE, changeovers, and throughput. This role requires a strong regulatory mindset and full on-site leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Manufacturing, or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of pharmaceutical, medical device, or highly regulated manufacturing experience.
• Strong experience leading automated manufacturing, packaging, assembly, or related production operations.
• Experience leading managers, supervisors, and multi-shift manufacturing organizations.
• Strong technical background in automated equipment, process troubleshooting, and manufacturing systems.
• Experience managing investigations, deviations, CAPAs, root cause analysis, and GMP/compliance activities.
• Experience supporting FDA inspections, regulatory audits, and inspection readiness.
• Proven success improving equipment reliability, throughput, OEE, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Excellent people leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work fully on-site within a multi-shift manufacturing operation.

Responsibilities

• Lead packaging, visual inspection, labeling, and related operations across a multi-shift pharmaceutical environment.
• Oversee a 40–50 person packaging organization across three shifts.
• Improve performance of automated packaging assets (SAM, labeling, CCP).
• Drive OEE, run-rate, downtime, changeovers, scrap, and schedule attainment improvements.
• Partner with Engineering to diagnose gaps and resolve equipment failures.
• Lead investigations, CAPAs, root cause analyses, and GMP compliance activities.
• Optimize packaging for high-mix, low-volume production with frequent changeovers.
• Develop automation business cases and future CapEx initiatives.
• Improve manual and automated visual inspection while maintaining quality.
• Collaborate with Quality, MS&T, Manufacturing, and other functions to ensure fit-for-purpose equipment.
• Support FDA inspection readiness and mock-audit remediation.
• Develop managers and supervisors through coaching and floor-level engagement.
