Reporting to Tamre Del Valle, Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer, the Clinical Director of
Perioperative Services will provide strategic and operational leadership for Valley Presbyterian
Hospital's perioperative and surgical services. This leader will oversee the Operating Room, Pre-
Op/Same Day Surgery, PACU, GI/Endoscopy, Central Sterile Processing, with responsibility for
approximately 150 FTEs and three managers.
This is a high-impact opportunity to lead and reshape a critical clinical service line at an
independent community hospital. The Director will partner closely with the CNO, surgeons,anesthesia, medical staff, and hospital leadership to improve OR efficiency, strengthen quality and safety, enhance physician and staff engagement, and build a sustainable culture of
accountability and evidence-based practice. The successful candidate will be a visible, hands‑on leader who is willing to be in the OR suite, learn current workflows, identify improvement
opportunities, and guide the department through meaningful operational and cultural change.
For the selected candidate, a complete and competitive compensation package will be offered which includes salary target of $225k+/- dependent upon experience, with incentive comp up to 15% of base, deferred compensation, a full suite of benefits, and relocation assistance.
