Job summary

Deckers Brands seeks a Director of Design for HOKA Performance Footwear in Portland, OR. Lead vision and execution across Racing, Road, Trail, Training, and Hiking footwear, guiding a team of designers to deliver athlete-informed, story-driven products.

You will partner with Product Management, Innovation, Development, Engineering, CMG, and Digital to translate insights into industry-leading footwear, while nurturing a diverse, inclusive design culture that elevates performance and style.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in industrial design or related field.
• 10+ years footwear design experience across multiple categories.
• 3+ years leading or mentoring footwear designers.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the creative vision for HOKA Performance Footwear across all categories.
• Create distinctive product concepts, design languages and franchise strategies.
• Translate athlete insight and culture shifts into compelling product experiences.
• Inspire and develop a high-performing team of designers through coaching.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to bring category visions to life.
• Maintain strong design intent from concept through commercialization.
