Job summary

Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd in the United States seeks a Director, People Services to lead strategic and operational HR service delivery, governance, and continuous improvement across the employee experience in a modern hybrid environment.

You will oversee workforce administration, vendor governance, knowledge management, data analytics, and transformation initiatives, partnering with HRBPs, Centers of Excellence, HRIS, IT, and business leaders to improve efficiency and employee experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressive HR Operations, Shared Services, People Services, or Service Delivery leadership experience.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience.
• Experience leading HR service delivery organizations, shared services, or workforce administration operations.
• Experience with outsourced providers and vendor relationships.
• Knowledge of workforce administration and HR processes.
• Experience with HR transformation initiatives and operating model redesign.
• Experience with Workday, ServiceNow, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the People Services operating model strategy aligned with HR priorities.
• Lead evolution of processes through standardization, automation, and technology enablement.
• Establish governance and service delivery standards across People Services.
• Oversee workforce administration, employee lifecycle support, and inquiries.
• Drive service performance, SLAs, metrics, and employee experience measures.
• Manage vendors and outsourcing partnerships, including cost optimization.
• Lead data analytics and dashboards to support a metrics-driven service delivery organization.
• Foster knowledge management and self-service adoption.
• Lead transformation initiatives including automation and AI enablement.
