Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Director, People Operations & Workforce Technology (AI) to lead global People Operations strategy and employee lifecycle processes in a technology-driven environment.

You will own the People technology ecosystem, drive data governance and reporting, and design scalable operating models while partnering across the organization to simplify workflows and enhance the HR experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading People Ops or HR tech in a high-growth technology company.
• Experience managing complex M&A, restructures, and People technology implementations.
• Proven success in scalable operating models and workflows.
• Hands-on experience with AI and automation to improve operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the evolution of global People Operations and employee lifecycle processes.
• Create a user-friendly front door for employees to access HR support.
• Establish clear service standards and escalation paths within the People Team.
• Improve core process efficiency from hiring to exit.
• Own the People tech ecosystem, enhancing data governance and reporting.
• Create an automation roadmap prioritizing opportunities in People Operations.

For our client, we are seeking a Director, People Operations & Workforce Technology (AI) to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will lead the strategy and execution of global People Operations, with a strong focus on employee lifecycle processes, service delivery, and workforce technology. The ideal candidate will shape a more efficient, employee-friendly HR experience while strengthening the systems, data, and automation that support the broader People function. You will partner across the organization to simplify workflows, improve governance, and create scalable operating models that support growth and change. This is a highly visible opportunity to influence how the company delivers HR services in a dynamic, technology-enabled environment.

Location: Washington, DC - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $208,000 – $260,000 annually
