Job summary

CRB is seeking a Director, People Operations to lead HR Operations and Total Rewards. The role combines hands-on execution with strategic design to scale compensation, benefits, and employee programs while reinforcing our values.

You will partner with business leaders to translate strategy into a comprehensive Total Rewards & Operations plan, ensuring a strong HR foundation as CRB grows globally and across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in human resources with focus on total rewards/operations.
• Leadership in implementing and administering total rewards programs.
• Advanced Excel and data analytics capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Create, administer, and evolve Total Rewards strategy aligned with DEI.
• Direct the annual merit and bonus processes.
• Lead HR Operations to scale tools and processes across the company.
• Advise executives on executive compensation analyses.
• Mentor and develop direct reports and broaden Total Rewards expertise.
• Monitor benefit/compensation legislation to ensure compliance.
• Benchmark rewards to stay competitive globally as the business evolves.
• Educate managers on Total Rewards topics.
• Oversee HRIS implementation and data integrity with vendors.
• Oversee HR audits, controls, and policy compliance.
• Advise Human Capital/Executive Compensation Board on Total Rewards.

As member of our HR leadership team and under the direction of the Chief People Officer, the Director, People Operations will lead our HR Operations and Total Rewards function and be both hands-on and strategic: refining our total rewards philosophy; scaling our compensation and benefits programs; building a strong HR infrastructure; and refining HR delivery model to enable self-service with support. Managing and coaching a high-performing team creating programs that meet employees where they are today and build a strong foundation for tomorrow while reinforcing our company values.

As a thought leader and partner to HR and business leaders you will consult with key stakeholders to manage, drive, and influence the development and execution of global rewards, benefits, employee programs, and processes while balancing the financial goals of the company. You will work with the business leaders to translate the business strategy and objectives into a comprehensive Total Rewards & Operations strategy to meet our business needs today and, in the future, as we scale.

The position will work cross-functionally to deliver value-add support to the people team and be viewed as a subject matter expert with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

This position can be based in any of the following cities: Kansas City; St Louis; Raleigh; Denver; Philly; Boston; San Diego; Dallas

Responsibilities

• Creating, administering, and evolving our Total Rewards strategy inclusive of compensation, benefits, wellbeing, and aligned with our DEI strategy.


• Direct the annual merit and bonus processes


• Leading our HR Operations team focused on building tools and processes that scale and support people activities across the company.


• Partnering with the business leaders to drive recommendations for executive compensation and other analyses as requested by the Executive Leadership.


• Leading, mentoring, coaching, and developing direct reports; develop the Total Rewards acumen of the broader HR team.


• Staying up-to-date on current benefit & compensation-related legislation to ensure compliance with applicable employment-related federal and state statutory requirements.


• Benchmark activities across all areas of rewards and operations to elevate our understanding of our competitiveness globally and evolve it over time to meet the changing landscape of Total Rewards & Operations.


• Educating the organization, particularly our people managers, on topics related to Total Rewards.


• Assist in the implementation, rollout, and adoption of CRB's HRIS system and vendor relationship, ensuring a high level of data integrity


• Oversee and manage HR compliance function including leading HR audits, documentation, and testing of key controls, and ensuring internal policies and processes support compliance requirements


• Advise and consult with the Human Capitol and Executive Compensation Board of Directors committees on matters related to Total Rewards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required


• Minimum 10 years' experience in human resources with a focus on total rewards and/or operations


• Leadership experience in implementation and administration of total rewards and HR operational processes and programs.


• Intermediate/Advanced Excel with strong data analytics skill set


• Track record of working cross-functionally and collaboratively at all levels


• Compensation or benefits subject matter expert


• Agile and high degree of initiative; effectively handles multiple demands in a fast-paced environment.


• Attention to detail, ability to juggle competing priorities during heavy total rewards cycles/processes.


• Able to quickly establish trust and credibility across human resources and the business.
