Job summary

SoftWriters, Inc. is seeking a transformational Director, People & Culture to lead the People & Culture function in Pittsburgh. You will shape culture, drive organizational effectiveness, and partner with leaders to achieve business outcomes through people, processes, and technology.

You'll oversee HR operations, talent processes, and enablement tech, while guiding AI-enabled workforce initiatives and change management across the organization.

Qualifications

• 10-12 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• 5-7 years of HR leadership experience at Manager/Director level.
• Experience leading organizational change and technology-enabled initiatives.
• Strong ability to influence senior leaders and drive change.
• Experience building high-performing teams with accountability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee People & Culture programs, talent processes, HR operations, and enabling tech.
• Lead performance management, learning, and leadership development initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and maintain policies and handbook.
• Coach leaders on accountability, feedback, and metrics-driven outcomes.
• Drive AI-enabled workforce transformation and cross-functional collaboration.
