The role requires a Master’s degree, 7+ years of clinical experience with 4+ years in management, RCA-focused analytical skills, and Wisconsin RN licensure.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree required; consideration for those actively pursuing with date within 3 years.
  • 7+ years of clinical experience including 4+ years in a management role.
  • Pediatric experience preferred.
  • Analytical and statistical skills to develop and monitor unit budgets.
  • Strong strategic planning and program development capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across leadership.
  • Ability to assume 24-hour accountability for unit coverage.
  • Licensure as RN in Wisconsin; BLS certification recommended.

Responsibilities

  • Provide vision and direction for a patient care unit or service line.
  • Plan, implement, communicate, evaluate and coordinate unit operations.
  • Collaborate with Executive Director, Medical Directors and leaders to deliver safe, high‑quality care across the patient experience.
  • Oversee department operations and ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Maintain 24-hour accountability for unit coverage.
