Bain & Company, a leading global consulting firm, seeks a seasoned people leader for the Private Equity Group (PEG) in the Bay Area. You will guide staffing, capacity planning and PEG operations, partnering with senior leaders to ensure the right talent and capabilities for client needs.

You'll drive staffing strategy, coach managers, and help shape PEG initiatives, while balancing business demands with professional development and a strong focus on engagement and results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in management, liberal arts or related field.
• At least 8 years of professional experience, including 2+ years in management roles.
• Experience in consulting, private equity or related field preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead staffing decisions for Associate Consultants, Consultants and Managers within the PEG structure, balancing client needs and development.
• Manage capacity and workforce planning to align staffing with office needs.
• Drive PEG priorities, operations and leadership communications.
