Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Director of Payor Contracting to develop and lead contract strategies with health plans, government entities, and employers. The role oversees pricing, negotiation, and profitability across network facilities and employed physicians.

You will partner with Finance, Revenue Cycle, and Analytics to forecast revenue, optimize denials, and maximize cash flow while mentoring a contracting team. This is a hybrid role with on-site presence in Arizona as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, Finance or related field.
• 5 years hospital or health plan and physician contracting experience.
• Experience in contract negotiation and rate setting.
• Knowledge of government payer programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Directs and manages the contract negotiation process with payors.
• Develops payor contracting policies to optimize pricing and reduce denials.
• Leads the Network Reimbursement Team and analyzes contracts for profitability.
• Collaborates with Enterprise Analytics, Physician Billing, and Finance.
• Provides data-driven insights to forecast contract revenue and cash flow.
• Mentors staff and develops payor contracting talent.
