The Director,Patient ServicesPatientStrategy will own thedevelopmentofandensure the successfulexecution ofthe Patient Servicesstrategyto drive the successful commercial launch of DT120, working closely withRegulatory,Marketing,Legal, and cross-functional commercial teams to align with corporate goals. This role willdrivehowDefiniumPatient Services supports patientsacrossonboarding,treatment preparation,all aspects ofREMS,andongoing support, while ensuring all initiatives meet stringent regulatory standards (e.g., FDA).This role is responsible forthestrategy creationandensuringthat DefiniumPS Case Management teamsare set up for success as they engage withpatients and externalparties.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and executepatientsupportstrategies to support the successful launch and commercialization of DT120
- Support development and implementation ofpotential REMS For DT120via partnership with Compliance and other internal and external partners
- Design, continuously refine, and operationalize the end-to-end patient/care partner journeys-from referral through long-term follow-up-ensuring a seamless andcomplianttreatmentexperience
- Translate patient support strategy into operational workflows, business requirements, CRM functionality, reporting needs, and digital capabilities to enable scalable execution
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI-enabled capabilities, automation, and digital engagement to enhance patient experience, operational efficiency, and proactive patient support.
- Createexternal materialsdriving positive engagement with DT120 and Definium team members
- Create internal training materialsensuring that allpatientfacing teamshave the required expertiseonDT120, REMS, and Definium Patient Services
- Ensure Patient Services strategies supportpatientswith ongoing REMS related education and compliance needs
- Utilizedataand analytics todrive departmental, program, andpatientsuccess
- Manage team of direct reportsdriving both team culture and overall success
- Work across PS teams toimplementpatient journey
- Lead Patient Services launch readiness activities including SOP development, training, operational testing, governance, and cross-functional launch planning.
- Drive overly department culture as memberof PatientServicesLeadershipTeam
- Oversee the promotional review process (MLR/PRC) to ensure all patient-facing marketing materials are compliant with regulatory requirements
- Partner with Medical Affairs, Marketing, Sales,Market Access partners,and cross-functional commercial teams to align engagement strategies with broader business objectives
- Translate market insights into actionable strategies that strengthen engagement, differentiation, and launch readiness
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Marketing, Business, Communications, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum 10 years industry related experience required
- Minimum 5 yearsPatientServicesexperiencerequired
- Significant understanding of PS compliance and legal guidelinesrequired
- Understanding of internal and external material creationprocess(i.e., PRC)
- Experiencedesigning patient support operating models required
- Experiencewith Patient Services CRM systemspreferred
- Experience with REMS strategies, compliance, and support offerings preferred
- Skilled in cross-functional collaboration; intellectually curious, solutions-oriented, and effective at communicating and socializing strategic recommendations
- Launch experience in the U.S. pharmaceutical market required
- Experience in CNS / psychiatry, specialty pharmaceutical, or complex treatment categories preferred
- Experience with process design and workflow developmentExperience supporting highly regulated therapies (REMS or DEA Drug Scheduling equivalent).
- Ability to synthesize complex clinical, market, and customer data into actionable strategies
- Strong presentation skills and ability to influence senior, cross-functional, and agency stakeholders
- Ability to lead through ambiguity in a pre-commercial environment
- Ability to travel as required; average 10-20%, with higher travel during key launch periods
The starting base pay range for this position is $180,000-$235,000, with compensation determined based on several factors including skill set, years of experience, and geographic location.
