Job summary

University Health's Babcock Specialty Hospital seeks a Director of Patient Care Services to oversee nursing practice, drive quality and collaboration, and mentor teams across multiple units. The role reports to the Chief Nursing Officer and focuses on patient care excellence in a community hospital setting.

The position requires a BSN, Texas RN license, a master's degree or progress, and national certification, with at least five years in nursing and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Texas RN license required.
• Master's degree in nursing or enrollment in a master's program.
• National certification in a related field required.
• Five years of nursing experience with at least two years in supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily nursing practice across multiple units under CNO.
• Lead quality assurance and process improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
• Promote customer relations policies within nursing services.
• Foster teamwork and collaborative partnerships for care delivery.
• Coordinate with educational partners for facility availability and mentoring.
