Job summary

University Health is seeking an experienced nurse leader to manage staff and coordinate patient care activities. You will mentor staff and collaborate with physicians and other care teams, reporting to a Nursing Director or Executive Director.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Texas RN licensure, a BSN, and national certification in related fields, plus several years of hospital or clinic experience and BLS credentials.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with current RN licensure in the State of Texas.
• BSN is required.
• National certification in related fields is required.
• Three (3) years of recent, full-time hospital or clinic experience are required.
• Must have current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider or AHA BLS Instructor Provider card.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert leadership in staff management and coordination of patient care activities.
• Collaborate with all healthcare providers and non-healthcare providers.
• Serve as a mentor and role model for staff.
• Report to a Nursing Director or Executive Director.
