Job summary

University Health is seeking a dedicated administrator to oversee pathology services across all hospital and ambulatory facilities. You will ensure compliance, quality, and coordinated operations within the pathology department.

The role requires a strong clinical background, several years of health care leadership experience, and certifications in clinical laboratory sciences. A business administration degree is preferred for strategic oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or an appropriate biological/chemical/medical science from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five years of related, progressively responsible health care experience is required.
• Successful completion of a structured clinical program (CAHEA approved) and certification in clinical laboratory sciences by a recognized certifying agency or completion of accredited structured clinical program and certification by a recognized certifying agency prior to 1963 or Bachelor's degree in an appropriate biological/chemical/medical science from an accredited college or university and a clinical laboratory specialist certification is required.
• Master’s degree in Business or Health Care Administration is preferred.
