Job summary

Truist in Charlotte, NC seeks a senior governance leader to manage outsourced transaction management for real estate portfolios. You will govern the provider through clear standards, SLAs/KPIs, and escalation paths, ensuring compliant, timely, and cost-effective delivery aligned with strategic objectives.

You will coordinate across Finance, Legal, and Operations to secure approvals, manage contract and controls, and drive continuous improvements in performance and cost.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services and managing outsourced relationships.
• Ability to define and improve operating models for outsourcing.
• Strong communication, especially with executives and cross‑functional teams.
• Proven leadership in managing vendor governance and performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance of the outsourced transaction management provider with clear expectations and accountability.
• Define and continuously improve the operating model, scope, decision rights, and controls.
• Govern lease lifecycle, renewals, compliance, payments, and documentation with SLA performance.
• Own acquisition/divestment outcomes by coordinating Finance, Legal, Operations and approvals.
• Establish and enforce regulatory and internal control requirements for the provider; ensure audit-ready documentation.
• Translate portfolio strategy into targets and drive performance reviews and forecasting.
• Manage the provider relationship end-to-end including staffing, planning, and escalations.
• Implement vendor scorecards, lead governance forums, and drive data-based decisions.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation and process optimization.
