Job summary

Riverwoods Behavioral Health in Riverdale, GA is seeking an experienced Director of Outpatient Services to lead and expand its PHP and IOP programs. You will oversee clinical quality, operations, and growth while building referral networks and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires a master’s or doctoral degree in behavioral health, active licensure, and several years in behavioral health with leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Requires master's or doctoral degree in a behavioral health field.
• Active, unrestricted clinical licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, LPC, PsyD, PhD or equivalent).
• Minimum 4 years of experience in behavioral healthcare.
• At least 2 years in leadership, management, or operational oversight.
• Experience overseeing PHP and/or IOP programs is strongly preferred.
• Experience in acute psychiatric settings or residential SUD treatment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for day-to-day operations, clinical excellence, and growth of PHP and IOP.
• Drive census growth, patient retention, financial performance, and quality metrics.
• Develop referral relationships and support business development and admissions growth.
• Collaborate with leadership to advance initiatives and expand outpatient services.
• Lead and develop a high-performing multidisciplinary team with coaching and supervision.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, licensure, accreditation, and quality standards.
